Hey, I’m AJ MAZZU

Skateboarding isn’t something I just picked up as a kid—it’s something that completely shaped my life.

From the streets of New Jersey and Philadelphia to skating LOVE Park as it rose to its most iconic era, I grew up in the culture.

Now in my 50’s, I’m still shredding on the board—and more importantly, I’m passing it on. Not just tricks but focus, discipline and confidence.

Because done right, skateboarding gives kids more than skill.

It gives them something they carry for life.

Private Skate Coaching That Builds More Than Skill

ways to work with me

01. private lessons

Private lessons are the foundation of my coaching. I work one-on-one with kids at any level, focusing on building confidence, control, and a strong understanding of the fundamentals. Each session is tailored to the individual, creating a safe and structured environment where real progress can happen over time.
02. lesson packages

For families looking for consistency, lesson packages provide an ongoing rhythm that allows kids to truly develop their skills. Skateboarding is built through repetition and patience, and regular sessions create the space for both confidence and discipline to grow naturally.
03. group sessions & parties

For those looking for a shared experience, I offer small group sessions and private events. Whether it’s a birthday or a group of friends learning together, these sessions are guided with structure and attention so that everyone stays safe while still having fun.
04. adult lessons

I also work with adults who are either stepping on a board for the first time or returning after years away. These sessions are relaxed, focused, and completely judgment-free, with an emphasis on building comfort, balance, and control at your own pace.
05. travel coaching

When I’m traveling, I open up a limited number of sessions for local bookings. If we connect in another city or country, you can book directly through the site and continue learning wherever I am.
